This was a massive change that will allow us to innovate far beyond what we have been able to do in the past. With SketchUp 2017, we have completely reworked our graphics pipeline – i.e., the way we display SketchUp models.
Previously, a freeware version, SketchUp Make, was also available. It is available as a web-based application, SketchUp Free, and a paid version with additional functionality, SketchUp Pro.
SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, film and video game design.
